Why didn't I notice this before? My life is horrible. I look like a 40-year old going through a mid-life crsis, but I don't even have at least a model girlfriend and the latest broom to console me. What is life, but a barren waste. *EMO* And barren it is. Atobe and I can't even raise a semi-creature made from a rock right. We are clearly not meant for procreation or for continuing on this meaningless existence of mankind. I clearly don't deserve to be anything to anyone. Oh the pain. It's just too much to bear.

I haven't been updating that often, what with the new school year, though that's really not much of an excuse.

In any case, Ravenclaw Quidditch team contenders, I will be your captain for this year ...why do I suddenly feel old?. Remember that the season starts officially in mid-October, according to what Professor Flitwick has told me, so we still have plenty of time to practice and to refresh some of our skills. There are a few new things that I'd like to try out.

Good to see some familiar faces, and some new ones.

And yes, Inui will still be the team's additional trainer. No, you may not be excluded from the juices if you fail a team exercise. No, there will not be any exceptions. No, you will not die from the juices. No, they are not lethal.

Most importantly: Niou, please stop littering the Ravenclaw dorm room with your underwear.

Train ride was rather uneventful. Then again, I can't exactly speak for the other people. The hallway was apparently quite noisy.

It's nice to settle back in the dorms again. There's a sense of familiarity within these walls that I rather enjoy.

...Though it might be wise, Inui, if you could move your juice and potions to a safer location? The window is still unoccoupied. Last time you placed it so close to my trunk, the juice spilled and killed my bonsai.

Looks like classes are starting tomorrow. Hm. Mornings are transfiguration with some of the Slytherins, I think.

OWLs are this year too.

There will be a status report on the Quidditch team, once Professor Flitwick has informed me of the situation with the players. Hope to see some familiar faces once the season and tryout start.

There's still some time before curfew. I might go out for a walk, perhaps.

Sometimes, even writing down one's thoughts won't suffice.

In any case, the Quidditch training camp in Germany is drawing to a close. It was rather exciting to be here, with the members of the national team, training together. Of course, going back to see the World cup was just as exciting. Good job, France. Their chasers' formations really are very superb.

That being said, I'm expecting to finally go home tomorrow. It's been a busy but overall, good summer, and I'll be glad when I finally can take a small break before school starts.

Team, all of you did extremely well in the game against Gryffindor today. I'm very proud of all of you. We end on a wonderful note for this season - second place overall, and we'll do even better next year. Get some rest. You've earned it. Thank you for all of your hard work.

It's been a rather busy and hectic week, hasn't it?

As I'm sure all of you are well-aware, there was a rather menacing blizzard last night. Unusual, even for Hogwarts. Everyone on the Quidditch team, it'd be best to stay indoors and someplace warm. It would not do to be sick at our last Quidditch game.

...Though, even as I write this, it's beginning to feel rather warm... What is this strange sudden weather change? I was about to say that our House Elves simply threw in one too many logs in the fireplace, but that does not seem to be the case...

Feels like a weather spell gone wrong. It really isn't wise to mess with spells such as those so often, considering the far-reaching ramifications. Magic doesn't equate itself with the right to control. To think being a wizard serves you that right would just be foolish and arrogant. No, vain is the better word, I should think.

Everyone, I'm very proud of all of you in practice. There are still a few issues that nees to be addressed, and we'll go over them this week.

It's a quiet night. Perfect for reflection on a few things. Time doesn't slow down, but that doesn't mean one should just let oneself be caught in the torrents either.

Apparently, my bed is directly above Inui's now. Niou, quit your furniture endeavors. Some of us are trying to sleep, without falling out of our beds and breaking something.

Or maybe I should just go sleep in the common room. Or next door, but that's rather rude.

You like moving furniture so much, I suggest you can start by cleaning up the mess you left the clubroom on Friday.

Speaking of Inui, I'm glad he's doing fine now. and snoring as ever.

Well, I've made my decision regarding this summer. So that's set.

For Quidditch, I would still like for us to continue working on accuracy and speed. No, there won't be anymore Inui juice for awhile, but we could still improve our reaction times. That means more target practice. Once you've become accustomed to it, it becomes second-nature. And that's what makes a difference between a novice and a seasoned, experienced professional. I'd like for us to aim to be the latter, please.
